Basket Apron

This beautiful and functional apron is perfect for gardening.  It has strings and a toggle that alllow you to pull it up to create a basket.  it is also called a gathering or harvesting apron.  There is a pattern in this 1952 booklet from the USDA titled Dresses and Aprons for Work in the Home.  I wrote out the instructions for it and will teach it on Saturday, May 22nd from 11a - 3p.  $27 includes pattern, fabric and notions.
