Cloud Nine - Quilt Originals   by  Jan Thompson

What's a Napper?

A Napper is an idea that Jan had for a baby quilt to which she buttons a pillow. It's the perfect size for an infant up to a first grader. What really makes it special is the way she puts it together. Jan has a great sense for color, tremendous skills and experience in working with fabric, and, most importantly, an unwavering personal commitment to do things right, every time...she can drive me crazy at times with her need for perfection. But it sure makes for beautiful quilts.

Mothers tell us that their children get very accustomed to their quilts and feel at home when they are lying on "their blanket" no matter where they are. From infancy through preschool, their blanket is an important part of their everyday; and when your child outgrows his quilt you will want to put it away with other keepsakes. A baby's quilt is something special and one of these Nappers is perfect to create that special memory for you and your child.
